Who are you?
Fox Mime,
Keir Fox, and
Zero Fox are the sneaky foxes behind these projects. Fox Mime is an artist and costume designer whose art can be found
here on Instagram while Keir Fox is a DevOps nerd by day in the Chicagoland area who tinkers with
badly written code and 3D design between conventions, and Zero is some sort of engineer working in renewable energy who really just wants to
write weird stories and make music.

Are you associated with the convention?
Nope! We have no association what-so-ever with whatever convention we happen to attend and conduct silly treasure hunts/puzzles. We're just attendees and probably not even sponsor level at that.
What do I do with [whatever themed prop thing] I found?
You get to keep it, along with whatever contents it has. Some of our treasure hunts even have multiple variations on the theme, so keep your eye out to collect them all!
Why do you do this?
We've always enjoyed the fun and delight of the creativity we see at conventions, so this is our way of giving back to the community in a slightly sneaky way. Plus, this gives us something to work on between conventions which makes it all the more exciting as we plan and work in preparation for the next one! It also gives us both a chance to learn new things, explore different themes and ideas, and in general get stupid-excited to do something fun.
Do you have a Ko-Fi?
No. If you enjoy our work, we encourage you to treat it as part of the convention and make a donation to the charity the convention is donating to -- they're such good and important causes. However, if you do happen to stumble into us while we are outside of costume you are always welcome to buy us a beer and hang out. Because foxes love beer and we love meeting people.
Can I meet you?
Of course, you just have to find us. And, I mean, if you're reading this page then you found us in costume which is awesome! If you want to find us outside of costume, you just have to find us by our badges. In a convention of thousands that's not easy, but one trick is to look for the two people madly scribbling down ideas at the convention bar in a notebook right after closing ceremonies announces next year's theme.
